Getting in the Groove

We started out the day with radiation again. We are beginning to understand the groove of the hospital and what to expect. Nikki had a very routine day, for a hospital day. During the afternoon she took a nap and woke up with a very small appetite, which is to be expected as she goes through her treatments. Today for me was a brutal day psychologically. I am amazed how middle class Americans are being eaten alive by outrageous health care costs. I won't get into the details just please pray for me to go home and find a tree that produces green leaves :). We finally nicknamed the hallway that Nikki needs to walk up and down every day, three time a day, back and forth. It is named, "The Green Mile". We are blessed to have a wonderful support team made up of family and friends that support us through this time. We are grateful for the family we have that all pull together and do what they can for Nikki. God is truly amazing when you call on him, and have him at your side.
