A New Arrival

Today was the first time that Terry's Aunt Nancy was able to spend some time with Nikki in the hospital today. They got to talk for hours in between Nikki's treatments. She came into town to help out with Ryker while we are in the Hospital. Nikki today has adopted a new friend in the way of her infusion device pole. The other day a paitents needed to use Grover due to their form of treatment and Nikki reluctantly let Grover go. They brought her in another IV pole and we have nicknamed this one Johnny 5 (Short circuit the movie, there are some similarities). We are just plugging along here in the hospital. The best way I can compare to what she is going through is by saying that her induction Chemo therapy was like dropping an Atom bomb on her immune system and this is more like Scud Missiles. The treatment is not as nearly severe and she is responding well. We don't expect anything to go aloof lord willing. We have fit right back into the routine of hospital life and are just anticipating going home on Saturday morning. God Bless everyone and Thank for all of your support and prayer during this difficult time in our lives.
