The Long Road Ahead

Well today we found out that we are going to have another long road on the horizon. When Nikki goes into the phase of a stem cell transplant she will most likely be hospitalized for 30 days. Though this time we believe there will be times when Ryker is not allowed, which will be hard to deal with, but we know that the long term will be well worth it. It does not make it any easier but we know it is the right thing to do. Nikki today is at the hump day and she only has a few days left. We are kind of just going through the motions, but I guess this is better than dealing with a fire drill. Boring is good, we are told. We continue to read cards every morning and we have stock piled enough so we have some for every morning, as everyone thought as well as us that we would be here last week. We should be home for a month or so and then if everyone would not mind, please start sending cards again during that time. I will keep everyone posted on the process as we approach it. The prayers are working because Nikki is feeling well and so are her spirits, God is good. Thanks as always and God Bless each and every one of you.
