The Ringer

Nikki was put through the ringer today, she started out with one of her lowest RBC counts since she was admitted, which makes her very weak. She was given 2 units of blood and a unit of platelets today along with numerous drugs to protect her from any reactions when you get transfusions. Needless to say, Nikki does not do well with any medications during the waking hours. Most of the day she spent in bed and her day over all was very groggy. She is getting prepared for her 3rd bone marrow biopsy tomorrow @10am MST so please pray. If for some miraculous miracle the WBC counts recover in the morning then the biopsy will not be needed. We have hit the century mark today with the amount of cards we have received, so thank you to all that have sent them and keep them coming. The cards have meant an awful lot to Nikki and every morning we open up the cards and start each day off with all the positive thoughts and prayers, which is awesome, and at the end of each day with the teachings of our Lord.
