The Closing Bell

Well today was the end of the week which we hoped we would be at home. So that in itself is a tough thing to swallow. Today when the closing bell rang in symbolized the beginning of yet another weekend here at the hospital. Nikki is doing her best to keep her spirits up going into this weekend. Today we went online and ordered a bunch of hats and hair pieces. This is the first physical need that Nikki has so for those of you that inquired about how you can help, this would be a possibility, if not I am sure there will be other ones. If you would like to you contribute to what she has picked out then do so by sending it to the address listed on the header of the blog. We did get news today that the doctor is optimistic that she will be going home here shortly and as soon as we get a sense of that, we will immediately update this blog.
