Change out

Well today was the first time my Aunt Nancy came up to the hospital to see Nikki since arriving here in Denver, and she experience her first change out with me. Nikki today had a good day for the most part. She walked up and down the halls today with a passion. The staff commented that she walked at a pace that was very unusual for an ICU patient. Aunt Nancy walked for 30min with her and commented that she was surprised herself at how fast Nikki walked, and sweat some herself. Nikki had a little set back halfway through the day and took the rest of the day trying to get back to her baseline. The night for the most part was uneventful and we just sat around trying to keep Nikki's food down. We look forward to tomorrow and her regaining her strength and determination. Today was also the first day of her Nuprogen shots, which helps stimulate WBC's.
