It's All In The Numbers

Today was a very surprising day. We started out the day with the infection Doctor coming in and going through the normal routine. As usual everything looks good and Nikki has no sign of infection. Then a few hours went by and the Oncology Doctor came in and stated that she is doing well but her numbers are dragging. He then elaborated that the team of Doctors general consensus was that they are contemplating sending Nikki home when her absolute nuetralfill count reaches 500 and not 1000. They are realizing that Nikki is not like most of their patients (Surprise) and she is off the schedule. The probability of her going home sooner is now looking optimistic and we are really praying for a release date sometime this weekend. As the title states, "It's all about the numbers."
