Rough Day

Today we started the day finding out that the FLT3 was positive and not negative as we had hoped. We had a rough day in parts but by the end of the day we finished on a positive note by talking to one of the night nurses and finding out we did not have all the information and she was a blessing for us. Nikki learned a valuable lesson from several different people today. She needs to take control of her mind and have it think in a way she has never pushed herself and we know that she will take care of the physical side of things. The day had many lows and a few highs but all in all she will continue to persevere through this difficult journey no matter what is thrown at her so she can go home to Ryker and Terry.
