Down for the count

Today started out with a bang. Nikki got woken up in the early AM from a new Doctor that had high energy for the morning. She was quickly prepped for the biopsy and and then heavily sedated. The procedure was a success and she spent most of the day sleeping. Her body is in the process of recovering and is a little sore where the procedure took place. Her spirits however are positive and she is looking forward to a positive result that the bone marrow is without leukemia, however if it is not, then we are up for the next challenge. Getting rest for her today was important to her overall recovery and her RBC are beginning to show growth, that tells us she is producing those on her own and that is a great thing so early on. We hope to know the results from the biopsy in two days.
